Bicycle Thieves Font
What font is used in the Bicycle Thieves logo?
I did a lot of research to find the font used in the Bicycle Thieves logo. I didn’t find the exact font used in the logo. Most likely, this font has been personalized.
Anyway, I found two fonts that are very similar to the original logo font. The first is premium and the second is free. You can manipulate these fonts a bit to make them look like the desired font.
The first font is “Penny” and was designed by Jordan Davies, George Nesbitt and published by Wooden Type Fonts. This font is Premium and you can buy it from the link below.
The second alternative font is free and you can use it in your personal projects. Click on the button below to download it.
When all that is needed to shape the story of the movie depends on a bicycle, all the letters of the “Bicycle Thieves” logo are designed similar to this object, that is, similar to the shape of the bicycle wheels and its elegance, and are placed in the movie poster. The first thing that comes to mind when you are a designer is to use it for the bicycle and motorcycle brand. It is also used in tourism and children’s projects.
About Bicycle Thieves
Inspired by a seemingly simple event and a daily occurrence in “Bicycle Thieves”, Vittorio Desica delves into the precise and documented reconstruction of various conditions and situations in the context of dramatic reflections on the aftermath of post-war social life in his home country.
An unemployed man with a wife and a son, after a long absence, gets a job as an advertisement for posters. But to do that, he needs a bicycle, and to get it, he mortgages his sheets as his only available asset, while on the first day of work, his bicycle is stolen from him.
In this immortal work of the history of neorealist cinema, or more accurately, the whole history of cinema, the footsteps of Desika’s deep emotion and human compassion for the characters in her story, ripples, and all this at the end of the film’s bittersweet melody.
