American Pie 1999 film written by Adam Herz and directed by brothers Paul and Chris Weitz. However, after being hit in the box office, the film also had subsequent chapters, which were released in 2001, 2003, and 2012, respectively, under the names American Pie 2, American Wedding, and American Reunion.
The place that describes the story of five friends is based on the days when the author was at East Grand Rapids High School in Michigan. The film was shot in Long Beach using Long Beach Unified School District area high schools.
