About Anthem
Anthem is an online multiplayer video game. This action role-playing game is developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. Anthem was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 22, 2019.
The game is set on an unnamed planet and the players have the role of Freelancers or heroic adventurers with powerful exosuits in order to defend humanity. The title of this game refers to the Anthem of Creation; a powerful force that is responsible for phenomena and threats in the word. This game received mixed reviews from critics.
The game was mostly criticized for its grind and also the story and technical aspect and it was praised for visuals, combat and flight controls. Anthem couldn’t meet Electronic Arts’ commercial expectations despite having some positive sales achievements.
The game could not reach its sales goal. In Japan, this game reached the top of the sales chart and at launch 78,000 copies were sold. GameSpot that is a video game website awarded the game 6 out of 10. James Duggan from IGN which is a video game and entertainment website scored the game 6.5 out of 10 and he believes the game has energetic combat but it saves too much of the content for the endgame.
