About Detroit: Become Human
Detroit: Become Human is an adventure video game developed by Quantic Dream. This third-person view video game is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for different platforms such as PlayStation 4 in 2018.
The game was also released for Microsoft Windows in 2019. The story of this game follows three androids which are artificial robots and resemble human: Kara who escapes the owner she was serving and she wants to explore her newfound sentience and also protect a young girl; Connor whose job is to hunt down sentient androids; and Markus who wants to release other androids from servitude.
The developers of the game visited Detroit, Michigan for the setting of the game. David Cage is the director of the game and he consulted artificial intelligence experts.
The game received generally favorable reviews upon its release and it was mainly praised for visuals and the setting and also the voice actors but the motion controls and some aspects of the plot were criticized by the critics.
With more than 2 million copies of the game being sold, it became one successful launch of Quantic Dream. The game was also nominated and won different awards such as “Best of E3″ at GameSpot’s Best of E3 Awards.
