About Rise of the Tomb Raider
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a video game developed by Crystal Dynamics. This third-person action-adventure video game is the sequel to the 2013 video game, Tomb Raider, and also the eleventh entry in the Tomb Raider series.
Microsoft Studios released this game for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in 2015 and in 2016 Square Enix released the game for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. Feral Interactive published this game for Linux and Mac in April 2018, with a Google Stadia release set for 2019.
The story of this game follows Lara Croft. The player in this game controls Lara as she ventures into Siberia in search of the legendary city of Kitezh and fights against the paramilitary organization Trinity. This organization intends to uncover the city’s promise of immortality.
As she traverses the environment and combats the enemies she can raid challenge tombs to unlock new rewards which can be used for crafting useful materials. The development team of this game traveled to different locations such as Turkey to design Kitezh.
After the game was released it was praised by the critics for its gameplay, graphics and also characterization. The game could sell seven million copies by November 2017. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the sequel to this game which was released in 2018.
