About The Chronicles of Narnia

The Chronicles of Narnia series is based on a series of novels by C. S. Lewis of the same name; Chronicles of Narnia. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (2005), Prince Caspian (2008) and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) are the three ones adapted from the seven books.

The white witch is the main antagonist in this series and is the witch who froze Narnia. Andrew Adamson directed the first two films and the third one was directed by Michael Apted. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was very successful in the box office and earned $745 million worldwide and became one of the top films in 2005.

The film won multiple Academy Awards. The film holds an approval rating of 76% on the Rotten Tomatoes website. The second film; Prince Caspian grossed over $419.7 million worldwide and holds an approval rating of 67% on the Rotten Tomatoes. The third installment in this series; The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was commercially successful but received mixed reviews with an approval rating of 50% on the Rotten Tomatoes.
