About Lion King Movie

Disney’s upcoming film is an American photorealistic computer animated directed by Jon Favreau whom as an actor you may know by his roles in “The break-up”, “Chief” or “very bad things”. This musical drama film is a remark of a film by Disney with the same name. The Lion King stars the voices of Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Donald Glover, John Oliver, and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.

First, it was announced in 2016 that Disney is working on a live-action film after the great success with Favreau’s The Jungle Book. Most of the cast joined the team in early 2017 and the production of Lion King began in mid-2017. It is announced that this musical film will be theatrically released on July 19. 2019.

With this movie, we will have a journey to the African Savanna. A new king named Simba is borne there. Simba idolizes king Mufasa who is his father. This teaser has been one of the most viewed Disney teasers and could reach 224.6 million online views worldwide. We expect the Lion King to smash the box office records.
