The Punisher is an action movie that was produced based on a comic character with the same name. This movie was released by Lionsgate on April 16, 2004, and in the opening week, it could gross $13 million in the U.S and reach $54 million worldwide.

Frank Castle is an FBI agent having a perfect life and a perfect family and a good adventurous job. But all of that is taken away from him by a criminal and now being a new kind of vigilante, he is after revenge. The role of Frank Castle in The Punisher was also reprised in the video game in 2005.
